The last fixture at the KC before the "maintenance" is on the 1st . The Exiles game is scheduled for the 4th ?. Seems pretty poor decision by the smc imo.

IF the above is true regarding logistical reasons then it is another slap in the face for rugby league fans in hull from the RFL to go along with the snub we've received from the world cup venues

Houghton's in the Knight's squad and I wouldn't fancy playing Catalans without him. He's been great so far this season.

While I would have loved to have seen a game at the KC, I can understand this decision.

Fans from West Yorkshire/Lancashire aren't going to trek across to Hull mid-week for a friendly that is live on SKY, and also the pitch is looking in a bad state and i'd rather we get it sorted out so it is nice for any potential playoff fixtures.

The way I read it, SMC organised the re-seeding AFTER finding out we weren't getting the game.

but its ok to expect hull n rovers fans to trek across to west yorkshire/lancashire, again!

im sure the public of hull would have come out midweek and create a healthy crowd!

It would have made sense to have a game at the KC on the Saturday and St Helens on the Weds. I can't see Hudds getting a great crowd mid-week. Unlike the big clubs, they'll have to rely heavily on fans coming in from outside. They struggle to get a big crowd for proper internationals.
