I imagne both clubs and the RFL will be waiting to see how both teams get in the cup competition.

If everything possible was done to get the game on was done then fair enough.
Imo watering the pitch the night before when its been freezing all week was the only thing they could think of then Imo that's not good enough. At the last minute they decide its off when some Catalan fans told us they had heard on thurs it was off.
They could of called it off on Saturday morning then a least 60 or so of us could of stayed in lloret instead of sat on a coach for 3 hours.

catalans fans have got that wrong. RFL rules do not allow a postponement of a game until 24 hours before the game at the earliest. The pitch was inspected 24 hours before and was playable at that stage.

correct,before the pitch had been watered on the friday evening and again on the saturday morning ! (according to local press reports this morning)

the Catalans reserve game went ahead as normal by the way, which is really taking the mickey...

Take it this was at St Esteve, which in reality wouldnt be big enough for the number of fans that would want to see the main event.
