Sharp was one of the best players when he jumped up to take that ball with his hands way above his head, with robins players around him speaks volumes to me about his confidence.
Oh and can you all sing abit more in the east stand im sick of having to sing for you all lol
It looked like the first run-out of a team who hadn't had a competitive match to me playing a team who'd had a few more. The defence was pretty good for large periods considering the amount of ball Rovers had but. When it did break it seemed to be lack of communication. We seemed to push a lot of passes and mistime runs etc and so dropped the ball a lot. The penalty count was a bit worrying though - we'll have to sort that out because it can't all be down to the referee only watching one side.
The way Rovers players were dropping like flies throughout the game began to remind me of that infamous pre-season friendly against Huddersfield where our team was ruined for the rest of the season. I hope, for their sake, that those players can get back to fitness quickly. I hope Beaumont makes a full recovery too.
