agree with previous comment, would rather us lose playing exiting, unpredictable rugby then lose doing the same boring thing week in week out.

We never played boring rugby last season!! we were pretty expansive the trouble was it was mainly due to Westy's off the cuff stuff as we were short in the h/backs. Hopefully now we have h/backs in place we will step up another notch.

I sort of agree but it was short bursts against some poor teams. Altough we have quite a few new faces I worry wether we have sufficient quality across the park that can meet AP and the fans expectations for the new season. Its alright saying id rather loose playing entertaining stuff but wether people will still be saying that 10 games in is another question and I suspect not.

Bring on Sunday and it will give us a better idea.

I won't be happy if we play lovely looking rugby and lose, but I suspect PG won't be either. BUT this is a season of transition so I'm not expecting finals, just a better win ratio than the last few years, some attractive play and good tries, and a more positive feeling about the club as a whole. Part of that is done with the clear out of the old regime, but I'm not holding my breath for the rest. Progress will be just fine.

Every new coach will come with his own idea's and coaching methods.That goes for every club.Only good coach's will make them work.I feel PG will make a excellent head coach, afterall not many coach's can claim to have worked under the best coach in the world or even been the assistant coach to the best team in the world.

TBH I do not think AP or the majority of fans are expecting too much next season other than improvement any thing else will be a bonus. Hopefully we will be a regular major force in the next 2/3 seasons.

We threw the ball around against the bottom 6 sides and got some big scores...but when it mattered in big games we had no ideas (our away match at Headingley was one of the limpest, dullest performances I've ever seen)

We won't be perfect next season, there are too many changes to the team and weaknesses in the squad. But we should at least see some evidence of a gameplan, tactics and something to cheer about.
