I dont think that you would get anywhere near a 20k gate (remember all hull fc fans would have to pay)
also 20% of sales would be VAT

People dont get it. This 7500 "free" is only in OUR user agreement.
To hire the stadium for an event, a computer fare, cricket, a concert, a tag tournament its £15,000
For a derby, like with a concert the hirer will have to foot a police bill. All "bar" takings stay with the SMC.
All will be available to the clubs is the paying gate (after passholders)
We are waiting for Rovers to announce how many they have sold...... |

If Rovers wanted a 10k average, they'd need to average 8k at Craven Park and take 3 games to the KC with a total of 50k overall.
Hull - 20k poss
So they'd probably have to go with Leeds and Wigan and hope for 15k at each of those. Can't see that happening though.

I disagree I think FC fans would turn out, the only reason historically FC fans do not turn out for a derby at CP is that it is a hole and the view is dire. |

Must be more to it than that or the regular tenants (Hull/City) are being penalised for being tenants. |

How?
The SMC run the stadium and you book it through them.
When it was built AP was asked about concerts etc. He stated a full house concert, at £30+ per ticket still only makes the SMC a profit of about £70000 |

that will be minimum cost and probably just for opening the basic area (prob only West stand)
To open the full stadium and carparks etc etc will be a lot more i would presume |
