umbrella.gif I would like to post my third entry based on how i see the game now, could go on and on been a hull fc lad all my life and all that passionate stuff, but find today embarrasing for the fans of our great club, but all banter aside between clubs and rival fans. and a special message to the media. If you are so informed and like making the headlines start to think outside the box try to look at the last 10 years of super league we all see the physical differences in all sports of atheletes especially succesful teams we all say they look miles bigger than us but our initial thoughts are quickly forgotten once the game kicks off and finished. Without been slanderous look at individuals in our game and ask how they still perform at the highest at the age of 30 plus i am sure a few players fall into this category. Terry newton rip talked about the problems he had personally and in the game as he perceived them to brian carney i believe its a major problem in our game that requires sorting out and is just a matter of time. I look at the last 10 years and try to build which teams/players have been succesful and who has been in charge of the team and provided support ie the conditioners like were did cooper come from who did he work with prior to his arrival at hull. I think we all agree that its a much bigger problem than this instance and from a rugby league point of view we all need to playing on a "level" playing field. Please post your thoughts understand if you feel i am talking tosh but these are my beliefs that i hope people like mr gwillem lloyd would look at instead of having a cheap pop at the black and whites that is no good for rugby especially in this great rugby city, time to consider retirement lloyd and to leave it to a young indipendent news reporter to carry out an honest days work.

Interesting to know how many would be so keen to brush it under the carpet if it had been the dobbins who had transgressed'"

I wouldn't want them to have points deducted and a fine. Especially for the actions of (mainly) 2 people. 2 people who aren't even at the club anymore, affecting at least 11 players/coaching staff who weren't even here when the offences took place, that's without the changes of owner & BOD etc.

Actually it doesnt but the time line in LE is very interesting at the bottom of page 3. AP took over the club on 22 July this was just over 2 months of the test of Gleeson and just over a month after Gleeson had his result upheld (13 June) Gleeson appealed on the 28 June

Cooper interviewed by UKDA on 1 August, 20 September Cooper and Gleeson again interviewed by UKAD

11th October Rule charged by UKAD the same day he resigns.

How long had AP been looking at the books etc befoe the takeover looking at the press release etc there could be some interesting debate coming along. Just hope this all goes to bed soon and the game can start on the pitch

Quote: cod'ead "FFS get a grip some of you.

This is now getting like the self-flagellation following the McAlpine incident.

UKDA have decided the punishments of those found guilty in the matter. It would appear that there are no others involved. So stop the speculation, get on with your lives and look forward to the new season.'"

Don`t let it get to you,If F.C. won the triple and managed to gain world peace, some on here would still have a good whinge.
