Quote: WakeyManDan8 "Maybe one of the reasons Hull paid big money for a 32 year old player is because he was a crucial part of his previous team and the way they play, and showed throughout that he is an excellent leader both on and off the pitch- hence making him an obvious choice to become captain. Tickle would learn alot as vice captain, and would then take over when Lynch retires in the next couple of years.'"

Not a bad call, but I'd have Westerman taking over after a couple of years instead of Tickle. Someone young who we could build the team around & would hopefully still be here, as captain, for many more years.

For me the captain has to be on the pitch for 80 plus minutes
To boss the team round for me it would have to be an half back on the field
captain, Seymour " Club Captain "would be Danny Tickle ,
