BMI Baby have dropped the Manchester to Perpignan Route as well. FlyBE only in summer on a Saturday so no use for matches either. If it helps anyone car hire in France seems to be cheaper than Spain for some reason now. So looking at French airports and hiring a car may be cheaper.
