Pointless to single out individual Mods for abuse. To want to be a Mod in the first place, you have to have "Angry little Man syndrome", and have a great need for others to view you as important. You will find every mod on RL fans get's a thrill from exercising their tiny virtual power by editing any slightly interesting post, or banning any non sycophantic poster. This is the nature of the beast. All the browntongued "Modabee's" will defend everything they say, as they one day want to exercise this perceived power in the future. It's simply human nature, and most of the people complaining about the process, would probably end up doing the same if they became a Mod themselves. At the same time, the boards need Moderating, and these people are prepared to suffer the abuse and contempt of a percentage of posters. They are basically the "Steve Ganson's" of the Forum World, and as much as we gripe about their decisions, and self importance - we have to accept they are necessary.

On Seymour, if he was out of contract now, it is unlikely we'd have signed him after this misdemeanor. We have signed him though, so we have to make the best of it. With enough effort from the club, we can handle him the right way and make the most of his undoubted talent. I just hope we can!

the biggest indicator of how far we have come on as a club will be where we have housed these players, are they in an apartment within easy distance of Hessle and Hull City Centre or are they in a house in a village somewhere, the mistake we made with Berrigan was putting temptation on his doorstep (IMHO)

I reckon it must only be about 50% of the comments on this thread that are about Seymour, the rest just being bickering. So we'll have a new Seymour thread if/when he arrives.
