a bit hard to get the team performing on match day when you just landed in the country, training doesn't start for another 48 hours, some squad members aren't in the country yet and the first game is more than 3 months away.

So, other than giving some comments and interviews to the media and starting building incredibly important relationships with the key people and organisations, what else can he do?

Clearest message from the two videos on the website is that there is a renewed focus on youth development, whether that be facilities, full-time training with the main squad, balancing the squad to avoid "blockers" (ie average players being recruited that end up blocking homegrown player opportunities) or just giving these young players the necessary opportunities. Seems a nice, genuine bloke, very excited to be here. Welcome, Peter, and good luck.
