If he doesn't want to play for us, fine, let him go.

Ordinarily I'd be mighty cheesed off with this.

But with the new spirit of optimism at the club, I don't feel too bad.
Part of me even thinks his decision may come back to haunt HIM in the next few seasons.

Why is everyone saying its a massive blow?? He is a decent player but I have seen a few players at 18's and 21's that are looking more promising and that have performed better than him. He is a decent player and I give the kid credit for getting into the position that he is in because getting to play from the age of 17 is a great achievement. I bet half of you haven't even seen him play though. A lot of you are devastated just because he is a Briscoe. Wish him all the best for the future. We do need to be giving the youngsters more of a chance this season. Up the FC!

His choice, his future and maybe his mistake.

I've only seen him twice and his natural ability was clear to see and the club have waxed lyrical over him internally for sometime. I'm sure we'll see him turn out for Leeds in years to come. Our mistake is their gain. It happend, and im sure it wont happen again.

Im not that fussed, personally, as we now have two very good young 'uns who can compete for the number 6 for years to come: Nicklas and Ellis. And I'm sure our youth situation will improve immensely under the stewardship of Mcrae and Pearson.

It a shame, but Leeds where tipped off about his availability from an "outside source" I reckon we all know who that is.

The person responsible for his none signing this end will be looking for another job sometime soon, I think I KNOW WHO THAT IS AS WELL............

Well from the games I have seen Ellis he ain't much to crow about.. young yes, but given he giving away silly penalties and his kicking been terrible he'll fit right in

And given the fact he's making the step up to SL, tonight ain't making it snug better..

Why was he only signed on a 1 year Academy deal

Why was he 18th man on Sunday, did they not know he was going then?
