Was only 3 years ago and I would suggest the market has remained stagnant regarding player values
Nonetheless, I believe that Mcrae and Pearson will not pay more than he is worth to Hull FC.
That's said, I think the deal will be done. |

Why would Bradford let him go for 50K?
Even if he is out of contract next season what is Bradford really benefitting from in letting there best player go for what is equal to a squad players wages?
If he does sign for such a low fee it will be because Bradford have respect for the players interests. Even though it may have consequences for season pass sales
I also realise he is not worth more than 50K

Lets hope they can sort it. He is a quality prop and if we want to get up to the top four of the league then sometimes you have to pay a little over the odds to get these players signed. Once your actually fighting for silverware etc you can attrach OOC players on lesser terms.But we need to show we will be up their fighting.

Let's face it, Pearson is used to paying £500k-£3m mark in football for championship players. He has already said that he us willing to spend on quality players, £40-50 will be nothing in terms of what he's used to in football.
