The coaching staff have been encouraging him to back his speed instead of side-stepping and body-swerving into trouble. Those two tries were examples of him backing himself - the first involved a lot of guile and a great hand-off, the second started with great acceleration. His major strength for me is his... erm... strength. He busts tackles, against good tacklers, and then accelerates very quickly. After that, he may not be the fastest but he is fast. I used to want him to develop into a centre for those very reasons but I'm happy where he is now.
