| Quote east hull FC fan="east hull FC fan"No chance of Westy playing down the middle, will be same system but with Tickle at 13.'"
I think you are probably right if RA is in charge. Hopefully a new coach will come in and play Westy as a 'roaming' 13, who can be a ball player or a runner, on the edge or through the middle.

Look, I'll support him in a B&W shirt whatever. The fact remains over the last 3 seasons he's managed an average of 6 games a year. It's a risky signing and not one for which there's an obvious reward in terms of a trade-up in quality and gametime vs our current props. I'm not that impressed with it. I was also against signing Moa a couple of years ago as I thought he was a waste of a quota spot. Look how that turned out.

I reckon we should have a fair bit to spend, high earners out and not huge earners in and I don't believe we've been spending at full cap anyway (as hinted at by Pearson)

Thnx for that.
Well if we have, I hope it's only for a year. Some interesting recruitment to say the least at Wigan.

So O'Carroll, Lynch and an Aussie centre? When you say "top class", are you talking about someone in particular?

I'd also add Washbrook to that list.

Don't see how. Dowes may not be spectacular, but at least he's available for selection most weeks. I thought the McKinnon signing had an element of risk, looks positively f**king conservative now.

He's presumably sorted out his groin/pubic bone problem and been given the all-clear.
Otherwise we wouldn't touch him with a bargepole would we?
