You wont sign him, Nobody will yet. As much as you may have money, It will cost more than half a million quid to get him.
Warrington tried, They offered 250k & 2 players, And were laughed in the face
Rangi has signed an extension, Still to be announced. Keeps him at the club till the end of 2014. Where he will either return to the NRL, Or sign again for Cas - All depends how we have developed and how he is doing at getting into the NZ side.
He is easily the clubs highest paid player ever now, And he himself has asked for a clause in his contract, Saying there is no way on earth it can be bought out. He loves the club, The town, The fans. He will never play for another SL side, I am sure of that

Rangi Chase has asked for a clause in his contract stipulating no buy out?
Seems logical, it could be really annoying to him if a big NRL club came in for him wanting to enhance his pay and prospects. I can understand why he'd want to avoid that. |

I don't think for one moment he'll come to Hull but to suggest he'll definitely be at Cas until the end of 2014 doesn't quite tally with his comments in this month's Rugby Leaue World.
"I have pretty much fallen in love with Cas and would like to stay with one team if I could. I know we have a good team but whether we could win a comp? I'm here for another two years and would like to be in a successful team as any other player would... Everyone is always saying I'm going here or there but it's all just speculation."

He is easily pleased then. Cas is a bigger poop hole than Preston Road.
If Wigan / St's or leeds came in for him and waved an extra few grand he would be off like a shot. |
