In fairness to Sean Long I dont think he intentionally got injured and are all his injuries due to age? He was out for a lot of last season with a dislocated elbow, the same injury as Luke Robinson got playing for England, and this season with a badly broken thumb and a dislocated shoulder. I think it's pretty cynical to begrudge a player who has an excellent pedigree and has clearly put his body on the line playing for the club.

Not a role model for sure but one of the best players to ever play in British RL
good luck to him in what ever he does in the future, if he had stayed injury free i believe FC would have faired much much better

| Longey once tried pulling my bird in the CBH in Sydney on the ill fated tour when he went home. I must have gone down hill since as it was Tommy Lee who tried pulling my wife a few years back!  |
