Nurture strength of spirit to shield you in sudden misfortune. But do not distress yourself with imaginings.
Many fears are born of fatigue and loneliness. Beyond a wholesome discipline, be gentle with yourself.; [/color:1g6itio7][/b:1g6itio7]:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_663.jpg
Can anyone name a time when DOR has worked out in rugby league as i just dont see the point? It says to me that your head coach cant do the job properly so needs help. Id hate the club to go down this route and keep Agash in the process.

The major problem is a good coach and a good manager are more often than not, two completely separate entities. Rarely in the 50 years I've been watching the sport have I seen one man who can operate in both positions.
A manager or DOR will set out the strategy for the development and improvement of the playing rosters, including the identification of suitable players, at whatever age-group or skill level. He will also be the man responsible for rectruiting the head coach and ensuring that the development strategy is followed. The head coach is also responsible for the junior coaches and ensuring that they too adhere to the development strategy.
In many clubs, the post of DOR is superfluous simply because the CEO can see what's needed and has the clout to ensure his vision is followed. Once Bomber appointed JK, he effectively relinquished the responsibilities of coaching the first team, he gave JK his strategy and by & large, it was followed. Other factors conspired to emasculate Bomber's role in the club but there's no denying that towards the end of his time with us and the first couple of years under JK, were the best we've seen in the SL era.
