Yes, the timing's bad. Even if we are bestowed with a new coach he'll be playing with Agar's chosen cards. If Pearson had arrived in February Agar would have gone after that shocking start and we would be looking forward to the new season with an embedded coach, new club mentality and the right players in the right positions.

A better coach would still get more out of the squad we have next season.

I'd be more than happy for us to finish say 6th next season, but play more attractive rugby and actually beat some of the big teams...that would then leave us better placed for a proper SL challenge the year after.

6 months ago we were a viable top 4 club with a decent (on paper) squad, AP bought us at the bottom of the market, and good luck to him!
