The east stand is half empty nowadays, I recon Rovers will get it for the next derby game.

I personally couldn't give two flying figs who sponsors the East Stand. As has been said, I go to watch what's happening on the pitch not look around at who sponsors what although it will be like being at work seeing as my company is sponsoring West Stand!!!

No mate, we don't need the money. Maybe the next time your at Caravan Park (if you go at all) you should stop looking at whats on the pitch and have a look around your ground. Once you have done this you will want to slap Grudgel and ask him why he invests money with the SMC at the beautiful KC and not improve that shi7ehole you call a ground.

I really think a lot of you have missed the point with this. Hudgell is our chairman and has invested a lot of his personal wealth in our club. He will atrract an amount of publicity / advertisig from this activity aswell. He also is a businessman who has to advertise his company via several outlets as can be seen to a varying degree at numerous stadiums throughout rugby league and to a lesser extent football.

He hasn't invested any money into Hull FC or to the upkeep of the KC, he has just utilised and advertising stream by sponsoring the East stand at the KC, this will no doubt give him a fair bit of exposure, more so in the football world and I would assume the view being that if City get back to the premiership it will multiply the exposure his company recieves.

He is no more supporting FC than Audi or Microsoft support the Jeremy Kyle show just because there name appears on the same media outlet as each other.
