Is next year his testimonial year at FC?
If it is then he would surely be willing to accept an even lower contract which might give both him more incentive to keep performing for a new deal and FC to keep him for the salary cap, especially with the 50K rule.

Debut was in 2003 so I presume a testimonial would kick in at the end of 2012. I think Yeamo's is due next season.
The £50k rule is per club regardless of how many players at the club qualify and starts at the beginning of a player's 11th season, IIRC. In any case, this would be applicable anyway with Yeaman and possibly Horne. |
