This is not a wind up but id like to put a question to you guys on here so here goes, if fc let you be coach for say 2 wks what would you do to change things? You,ve got the same players and staff around you, all that would be different is the coach which would be you, your team lost the previous week and you,ve got to turn it around, how would you do it?

Took the family up to Cumbria for the Gary Purdham memorial match. When the England bus turned up i took my eldest lad to see if he could meet some of the players. Every player that we saw stopped and chatted to him. Even now he still talks about how friendly Richie Myler and Joe Westerman were. We couldnt get shut of Gaz Carvell or Steve Mcnamara! The only exception was Tom Briscoe who walked past my lad without even acknowledging him.

im suprised by that, whenever weve seen him, hes always been polite and chatty, my kids think hes great!!

Believe it or not the kid is really shy and does not talk alot.He tends to try and keep out the public eye.That maybe the reason for the snub?.

Find that hard to believe. My lad waited outside dressing room for all the players after Quins match and every one to a man stopped and chatted to him. Tommy especially all smiles despite broken nose and posed for photograph with my son. Top man and my lad doesn't stop talking about him.

On that occasion Agar was out last as well. My lad snubbed him. He's only 5. Priceless.

tom was more than happy to sign a rugby ball for my 5 year old nephew at brantingham a few months ago when his grandma took him to see them train.

probably a cracking kid tho' obviously upset at the defeat and I reckon got an extra ear-bashing from the coach - the rest of the lads were fine and took it on the chin - Sam Obst literally from Hendo at the end !

he did look shaky nd it didn't look such a hard challenge ?

Briscoe is probably wondering why he signed a contract with us until 2103. Can guarantee he won't sign another one unless something drastic happens at the club

just as well I suppose you never know what's around the corner ?
