The only problem I have with the stock replies is them containing "I wanted to reply to you personally" when they clearly haven't.

I think they genuinely believe they've got the right man to be honest. What bugs me is the way they are taking each game in isolation to shift any blame away from Agar. It's like the last 2 seasons didn't count due to injuries/squad rebuilding etc. As many have mentioned, the only way they'll really start listening is when people start voting with their feet.

They've got individual names on, and were (apparently) written by Rule rather than a flunky. If all the emails say essentially the same thing then one response is probably appropriate.

TBH I'd rather he was spending his time sorting out the coaching problems than writing emails.

When I worked in the Home Office (as Sir Humphrey's flunky) I often replied to emails from his account with a draft prepared by someone else that I pasted into the reply email. I imagine it happens in a lot of cases and yes, I'd much rather that the CEO was doing more important things than replying to emails.

Happens in my work aswell, someone writes to their MP, the MP writes to the Council Leader, they pass it to the relevant director who passes it to me, I draft a reply that gets Pasted into a letter from the Director to the MP who pastes it into a letter to the person that contacted him.

Is great fun when the same person writes the same letter to their MP, ward councillor, parish/town councillor, council director and council head of service. rest assured they dont get 6 personalised responses.
