Agreed, this proven world class coach stuff is getting tedious as it won't happen, we need to find an up and coming coach from Aus with the emphasis being on certain qualities rather then simply experience or past success (would help though) my only concern would be the ability of the decision makers at the club to identify such a person after the Agar farce, and then if we did find the right man would we be an attractive proposition for someone who is possibly in line for an NRL job in a couple of years.

I agree. Sean Long for whatever reason [excluding his the injury periods and his first game] I have been disppointed. There may be valid reasons on his part but I, @ present have not seen value for money, from him. He may be doing vluable work 'behind the scenes' but I have not heard so.

We need a good,no nonsense coach in NOW. We cannot wait. Time is not on our side. Going for an overseas coach will take time. While I am not against putting James Webster in temporary charge if that was the course of action decided upon [should Richard Agar leave] I can see many people thinking along the lines of 'here we go again' etcetera.

Has already said he wants another NRL job. Not defending Agar just saying it's not all his fault, players have to take some blame.
