Quote: PAUL M "Played quite well tonight, constantly tried organising the side and was lively. He was not the reason we lost, he played far better than Horne tonight and just had no options to work with.'"
You mean the "world class" Richard Horne? (I know you never said he was, just pointing out how idiotic some on here have been)
Long had a decent 15 minutes, other than that he was going through the motions, but there were a lot doing that. We seem to have lost the ability to give a decent pass, why the hell we dropped Turner to bring Lyne in and shuffle players to accomodate him is beyond me.
Agar won't go anywhere, he wont get sacked and he wont walk because he knows no other club would be stupid enough to employ him other than as some kind of Victorian side show.
As you said in the other thread, even if he goes what do we get, Webster? FatNamara?, I never thought I'd hear that amount of booing and calling for the coach, 11,500 there last night, a tonking at Quins next week (which is a real possibility) and they'll struggle to get 13,000 against Castleford (who will bring many more than the pathetic Wakefield traveling attendance).
Certain posters on here have, in the past, had a dig at me for not going to games last season, what they forget is I was living and working in London, now I am a little nearer home it's still a trek, I got back home last night just after 11:40pm, for what, a clapped out 7, a 13 that isn't a 13, Westerman playing well so subbed, Obst on the bench and then brought back on with 6:28 to go, a 6 that can't pass, I'll not go on, I'm depressed enough.
And, on a final note, can I say to the guy with the microphone "shove it where the sun doesn't shine", we'll sing Old Faithful when WE want to, not when some no-mark in a suit tells us to.
