Im not sure what gleeson has done but i wouldnt want him anyway as i think whiting deserves the spot after years playing a number positions, but if we did sign him i wouldnt have a problem with it afterall if warrington can sign a doggie fiddler without worrying about then why should we worry about taking on gleeson, why shouldnt players be able to make a fresh start at another club just like tansey has at dewsbury and no doubt if he behaves he'll get another crack at super league again.

Maybe they considered it just as a business transaction . Believing, the player's 'on field' abilities would be more of a benefit to them than his off field behaviour.

Not sure on what the allegations are but he would if fully fit shore up and link that right edge in attack. Just look at the what happened when we started to put Berro in that position. Whiting will be in the squad and we could do with an extra back to really make people play for there places. People deserve extra chances, just like somebody will give Tansey probably, as long as any deal included the relevant get out clause then for me we should be looking.

For me we gave Tansey enough chances at this club all of which he failed to take. I wouldnt have a problem giving him a chance & taking Gleeson as long as the deal involved a zero tolerance so any indiscretions and he was out on his backside. The other factor to think about is the affect on the team it would have if the club did take him on.

Tough one as it raises so many issues, all of which are valid
