I maintain what I said a while back, he will be the coach if Agar does get the sack.

Id rather him doing a job than Agar.

People harp on about Mcnamara and McDermott being clueless but i personally think both are better than most give credit and will prove people wrong.

Mcnamara a had a shocking team to coach and admittedly did nothing as opposed to Agar who has a decent team and still did feck all.

I wouldnt be against Mcnamara taking the head coaches job

Fatnamara's recruitment and retention was worse that Peter Sharpe's. He'd be, at best, no improvement whatsoever. And he'd be unlikely to make the kind of sweeping changes that are necessary.

Hopefully he was there just as a guest of the Giants.

He'd be a terrible appointment as coach. No better than Agar and we'd be stuck with him for at least two years.

McNamara was obviously there just to watch the game. If he was being lined up as our new coach, he would hardly be sitting is plain site with Kath. Also Agar is going nowhere. He'll be our coach well into mid season, whatever happens.
