Without wishing to give away my secrets, it's so easy. This fella has only 10 posts to his name. There is some correlation between low post count and mischief-making IMO so someone coming on here and making a statement that will wind up an already agitated FC fanbase with only 10 posts arouses suspicion. On his post, click on "profile", then "search user's posts" and it gives you their 10 posts. Most seem to be about Sammut being nailed on, which was not true and wound up an already agitated FC fanbase. Maybe this chappy is genuine and the rumour is true, but the evidence available suggests some caution should be exercised.

As far as I'm aware, the Sammut deal didn't fall though "at the last minuite", it never really got of the ground beyond "can we have him?" "Feck Off" stage of negotiations.

I'd also question the likelyhood of a director being as unprofessional to leak such things prior to an announcement and everything tied down legally.
