Noble is a better coach but not class.

He won honours at Bradford will a team he inherited. He jumped ship when they were falling and did nothing with Wigan or GB.

We need an Aussie with an attacking mentality

He turned Wigan around and got them to the brink of the GF. Next season they won it.

Coaches don't handle the finances do they??? Plus he came mid season as well.

he managed to take a Crusaders side who started the season in a new town and in complete disarray to the playoffs last season, picking up some great players like Sammut, Witt and Hauraki along the way.

No other club with ambitions of making the top 4 would sign either of these players and I think to much is been made of Noble on here at the moment.

But I do agree that Agar is by far the worst coach in SL and have done since he took over!

Dunno, he was in charge of a club that brought Fieldon in and broke the salary cap though.

He was in charge of the players, the club buy players, sort out finances etc. I don't think he is as good as some make out but he is a far better option than what we currently have. Sure he would happily step in for the season and see how it goes from there.

we started 2006 in a mess, with an injury hit, in-balanced squad and players who liked to be out on the , but an experienced coach in Sharp came in and lifted the performances from mainly average players and we made the Grand Final.

not saying that is exactly what will happen again...but a more experienced and able coach would get a lot more out of this side.

Noble is a much better coach than Morgan and I'm one of the few FC fans on here who will admit that Morgan is far superior to Agar (before today).

Did Noble choose to pay a transfer fee for Fieldon? The coaches don't operate in isolation from the finances, it would be impossible to do so.
