Oh - and Des Hasler? What makes you think he'd even consider it?'"
Asked why we had gone so far backwards from 2005/06 and that were not contenders anymore. Fair question id say whether I rant or not its bourne out of fustration because this club could achive so much more

| Quote: Kosh "I'd have agreed with you right up until we showed the same lack of discipline and poor defence that we showed for the larger part of last season. These were major, glaring faults and he's spectacularly failed to address them in the closed season.
He's had plenty of time to show what he's capable of as a head coach. He has far too many shortcomings IMO to ever be the standard we need.'"
I agree, if it were my choice he would not have been given a two year deal last season. I would have brought Noble in before he went to Wales, I would still have Noble now. Agar did a decent job last year so for me he has bough himself some time this season. I won't be condemning him after yesterday's game, there some good signs but unusally our defence was really poor and we crumbled under pressure.

| Thought Moa was very good in the time he was on the pitch and O'Meley was the normal handful.
I was not really that worried at been 14-0 down, you could see that your team was putting in a huge effort and it was only a matter of time before you tired. Plus I think you used up both your set piece moves for your tries and cant remember seeing another for the rest of the game
Oh and what side step from Radford!

| I really try to be positive in my outlook on most things Hull FC and after the first 20 mins we looked like we could rack up a cricket score. However, the thing that jumps out when things started to go wrong was the complete lack of ability to deal with what was happening on the pitch by the coaching staff. There was a moment in the second half when KR had scored to effectively put the game to bed and the camera pans to Rich Agar and if I have ever seen such a lost not sure what to do look on a professional sports coach I would like to see it.
It then gets worse when you listen to the after match interview. You can clearly tell Rich Agar is not happy with individual efforts defending in our own 20, fair enough but the comment that follows about KR having well organised and set plays in the opposition 20 that hurt us had me wanting to throw something at the radio. IF THEY ARE THAT WELL ORGANISED AND WELL RUN SET PLAYS, WORK ON COMBATING THEM IN THE WORK YOU DO RUNNING UP TO THE GAME.
I fully accept the game changed on three daft penalties given away and once the momentum changed there was only one team going to win the game. What worries me is if KR had gone into a 14 point lead would anybody realistically see FC winning that game yesterday, I don’t.
I see no change in the mistakes we all complained about last year and have little faith in these things improving in the coming weeks. The league will so tight this year the difference between finishing 4th and 9th will come down to how you change the momentum in games you are losing and at the moment I believe this is one of the weakest parts of our coaching set up. For that reason I am so much more pessimistic about this year than I was a weak ago. Yes it’s the first game of the season but when little has changed since last season I can see this being a long hard year.
