An owened training facility is key, what about aiming to set up a "school of excellence" a la the FA
Or even aim to build something that might even tempt the RFL to base the national team here as a training base. (and if someone comes back on that and says "Leeds is perfect, centre of M62 for players etc" then have a look at yourself.
We are only restricted by our dreams and ambitions, so why should these be limited?

Im with you mate,the trouble is some people are happy to just have a team,others we went from 12th to 6th,some that we make money. Me at the start of each season I want us to be able to challenge for honours on both fronts if anybody hand on hearts think were capable of that there fools. I look at wire's squad and more there overseas contingent in hodgson,monas x 2,king,anderson and there is real quality there with strength in depth waiting in the wings. We were told let agar build his own team and to be fair to him he had to get rid of some bad apples but imo the squad as a whole isn't upto to top 4 standards,some good indvidcual players but nothing in the wire,wigan mould. Everyone has there own opinion and expectation mine is if it was a school report it would could do better and perenial under achievers. Make no mistake we have the potential to be the biggest club in super league but imo we take the safe,easy option because the bod know there under no real pressure because we carry on pouring record money into merchandise,season pass sales,turn nearly every away game into a virtual home game and just think were being held back and instead of being contenders were pretenders. Fwiw I don't expect to win any of the 1st 3 games and I think the club will be under pressure and will be intresting to see what happens then,because if we do struggle and with a massive chunk to spend for next season we need to have a coach in place who is going to get the recruitment spot on otherwise its going to be another couple of seasons of failure. Just my opinons of course and east hull fc fan just because mine differ to yours doesn't mean in right and I don't bag you everytime you have a posotive slant on things. But you will see the light in the end
