Would like to think we'll go for Widdop to play 1 or 6 and not count on the overseas allowance.
No doubt we'll be linked with Lockyer and Preston Campbell. With Learoyd-Lars and Adam Blair OOC you can guess we'll be linked with them too. Reality is we'll struggle to bring anyone in as usual.

I've heard a rumour that Sean Long is very honest and tells it as it is - and judging by his interview in the League Weekly paper yesterday I'd day that rumour was true!!! Our squad is 'shallow', we're not 'up there with the Wigans, Warringtons and St. Helens', we're 'short at full-back and centre' and 'may struggle if we get one or two injuries'. He's not a daft lad that Longy ya know.....

In the context of my message i meant players in the NRL.
Of those you list above from the NRL how many have we signed in the last 2 years? That for me says that as usual (with usual being the last 2 years) we struggle to recruit. Do we have an overseas spot free? Have we struggled to fill it?  |

I seem to remember Agar saying that signing a HB was a priority, back in september. Given that he has made some really good signings in the past i think missing out on a HB will bite him in the ar$e
this year we ought to have been improving on last seasons league position and trying to break into top 4 but it looks incredibly unlikely. as usual i'm sure expro will manage to put a positive spin on the situation |

I think it's a combination of the players just not being available but also our inability to offer a competetive deal. A big name Aussie halfback takes a big name Aussie salary. Our structure wont let us do it.
I'd hope we can use Berro and Tansey salary to make a big signing at the very least but i dont have the confidence that we'll commit big. |
