He's been told he can have the weekend off mate so I doubt they will even list him in the squad.

Imo he never...If i remember right Turner played all over and then lost his place.Hopefully if he can get a regular spot in a settled position he can kick on this season.

Steady, Morgs could be reading and it will undue all the good PR about him being 50/50 for Cardiff in the press
Although it would help if he was even in full training

Ha ha, I think Morgs has known for quite a while, like you say if Horney was even training it would of maybe put a little doubt in peopls minds but as he has not had a ball in his hand nobody really thinks he is going to play.
Do they?

| I really like Tansey as a player and would be gutted to see him waste his opportunity with us by fecking about. But if the club do decide to get rid then it is the right choice.
But it really does show the lack of depth within the squad, if we have to move about 2 maybe 3 players about to cover one position for the backs.
Also if Fitzy is to stay in the back row then I would rather play him in the second row and play Westerman at 13. Fitzy just slows the ball movement down too much when he's at first reciever and its not as if were fast at it anyways. Play Westerman in the centre of the field, allow him to get his hands on the ball more seeing as he is a ball handler.
So for me, either play Fitzy in the 2nd row or play him in the front row.
Then have a starting pack of;
O'Meley
Houghton
Fitzgibbon
Manu
Tickle
Westerman

That would be about right. Spend 4 years trying to get a 6 and when we do play him at 1. (I do appreciate that he can play FB as well) But that would sum the team up under Mr A for me.
As for the pack I would say that with the exception of Houghton which ever 6 are picked not one of them will play in any one specific role for the entire match. Fitz can play anywhere, Ogre front or 2nd row, Westerman Second or Loose etc. That mixing up may well be an added attacking option, especially while we lack a settled and regular 6.
I do though think that Richard will play Turner at 6 and give him a good run, injuries permitting. I would stick Horne if fit at centre or FB, keep him out of the middle and give his body time to adjust to full blown games again.

| How confident are you guys with Lynne on the wing?
Seems alot of you think he is ready, I can see Tansey playing at fullback and Whitting on the wing.

| When will people ever learn. Sammut will not be coming to Hull FC.
Got to go with Turner and Long in the halves and give them time to gel. None of this if Horne is fit then drop Turner either. Horne at best is back up now and Turner and Long will be our halfs for the season.
