I think most people at the club including half the players would like him to go but it is not always straight forward getting rid of someone.

Looking at the pros and cons shouldn't have anything to do with whether his contract is terminated, that is a solely disciplinary matter in this instance. If Tansey has breached his contract terms on several occasions and the club have exhausted all disciplinary methods then that & that alone should be the sole deciding factor. The fact it will leave us short squad wise shouldn't be here nor there. IF and that is a big if, the club do not stick to their own disciplinary procedure and accepted standards of behaviour and Tansey is given another chance (If indeed he is at the final written stage anyway which we don't know for sure!) then that would make a mockery of the club and have far reaching issues further down the line should another player or other member of staff be in a similar situation.

I know that we have had the Briscoe /Tony debates,and hindsight is a wonderful thing,but one of the comments about Briscoe at the time was he is just a fullback.So what? he was good at it,and if he played there all season doing his job correctly,fine.
No disrespect to Whiting but a specialist full back of Briscoe`s quality is what we don`t now possess ,I.M.O.

Totally agree..It is not as thou the club have not been fair with him.
