Ditto what he said! Very poor timing to be making this decision, but he's gotta go. He doesn't respect my club, I no longer respect him, and that will go for many fans, even if he stays, he wont get much of a warm welcome! In my opinion anyway.

agar won't get criticised for sacking tansey. He may get criticised for his squad being too small and us having no cover, but that isn't a direct effect of the tansey situation.

Anyway, I'd be surprised if agar gets the final say on this and I'd be disappointed if they keep him purely because we don't have any cover.

Sacking him would send out a powerful message to the current squad and future potential players. Keeping him would just show we're a soft touch and give carte blanche for players to take the piiss

The kid deserves to go, but it's been nearly a week now, and the more this plays out, the more I think we are going to give him one more chance (allbeit becuase of our paper thin squad).

The fact is most players go through their whole careers without an ounce of trouble, and Tansey has been stood down 3 times in little over a year. All the evidence points directly to the door.

The process of taking someone through the disciplinary process to prove that their misdemeanors are cause for dismissal takes longer than a week - particulaly if there are legal representatives involved.

Didn't one of the premiership teams (I seem to remember it being manchester united) had a scheme where any fans who saw players out drinking could call a number and report them? Could "Tanseywatch" be a new way of the club to keep tabs on him?

Because of the build of the squad at the minute I don't see how we can affiord to let him go, so I can see them giving a(nother) final warning and a maximum fine (whatever that is).

I would have the club have a pretty concrete case against the kid with him being a repeat offender. Certainly enough evidence against him to deem his contract void due to serious breaches.

I think the board are biding as much time as possible to see how our recruitment drive plays out, before commiting to sacking him, which is wrong IMO becuase what he has done warrants his termination, regardless of the current state of our squad.

Nowadays, there are certain steps that they have to follow - each of those steps requires a period of notice. Both parties need time to gather evidence for their "discussions" so that a fair result can be reached. I have not seen this happen in a week with the current legislation.

I reckon the club want rid. If he was staying it would have been announced and done and dusted by now. Keeping him out of the team photo is further evidence to suggest that is the case despite how it might be dressed up by Agar as keeping him out of the limelight. Due process is being followed and if Tansey has no comebacks he's gone IMHO.

I hope a verdict is reached sooner rather than later. I would like to believe the club will make the right decision and get rid!
