Thanks for the info, however i am well aware that transfer fees
do not count on the cap.
I would assume the club have a budget which has an annual spend on players and staff. It's called basic business.
Maybe I am a cynic, but when we paid a transfer fee for Westerman, and then Berrigan left, it just smacks of, pay the fee from Berrigan's salary,and not recruit.
TBH, we only need a backup 7 who can play 9,or vice-versa.
Obst would do a fine job, Wakey need the cash., Or James Webster.
Or..... Use Williams as a 7 backup, and play Newton as a back up 9.
