As bbm say's leeds are miles ahead of us,they had plenty of injury problems last season but did'nt bang on about them. Never got of 2nd gear in that game guess you didn't watch the game at leeds or the challenge cup game then. And the fact leeds have won 2 of the last 3 wcc would put them many miles in front of us you need to stop burying your head in the sand and wake up to the reality were not as good as you think. If you are happy to be average and finish 6th and think thats progress thats fine,but I expect more and expect us to challenge on both fronts sadly that won't happen under this regime

I do go and watch the boring and turgid style ,we play.

I wont bother this season, as the way the club has treated my father,who was seriously ill last year,and has been a supporter for 60 years, is a disgrace.

IF you saw the Hull FC team,that Brian Smith assembled in his first season,
which consisted of no internationals,players such as Jackson,Eastwood and Karl Harrison.

Smith transformed these unknown players into GB internationals.

Then you will appreciate ,that a GOOD coach,can take 17 players and transform them into a team.

I hope Agar can gel these players into a formidable unit,but sincerely I cant see it

Spot on for me, Kosh. 71-0 against Bradford and the awful defeat at Odsal in defence of the CC were as hideous as our Cup run was superb. Sharp was probably not given enough time with the big injury list, but I also think his apparent ambivalence towards the fans of the club didn't help him, nor his random press conference performances. I understand the club retaining Agar for continuity, but the issue is that even if we have a disastrous season, Agar will be succeeded either by James Webster or Steve McNamara. The current board do not believe a world class coach is warranted for a club of our size. This is all the more staggering when we're prepared to shell out £120k or whatever it was for a backrower, but there we have it.

I also wonder how many of the 'give Agar more time' brigade, would be saying the same.

the loss of p&r gave the club the chance to provide some continuity.
