Main reason why I opted for the HTC Wildfire instead of the iphone, I could get exactly the same contract on either phone but I didn't wanna pay £120 for the iphone when I could get the Wildfire for free. The only downside to this than the iphone is the apps, the andriod market is rubbish and hardly any decent apps unless you're american then there's loads of good ones I'd guess other than that there's nothing between them, really.

I'm due a new phone in a few months and was considering the Torch but Blackberries seem to get a lot of poor reports so I am more likely to go for the Desire.

The apps available for iphone are very good.

Blackberrys are good phones, I just really don't like how they look at all.

The Torch is on a different level to other blackberry's though. I had the 9700 Bold previous and upgraded to the Torch and it is massively better. Horses for courses though as I use mine for work a lot and have a multitude of e-mail addresses that all feed in. The youtube player on it is very good too and seems to be much better than the one on the i phone 4, it certainly buffers less.

Once you go black you never go back.
