Cronk is a great player and would walk into any SL side at scrum half. I can't see him coming though, he has finally got a place in the national team so wy would he want to give that up? Same with Shillington I guess although the rumours I heard a couple of months back where that we were talking to Shillo was keen to come and we were taking to a top SH too.

I would be stunned if Shillington left Canberra as they are building to something big down there plus him and Tom Lehroy-Lahrs are wanting to become the new Webcke and Civonceva tandem.

A place in the Aussie national side pales into insignificance alongside the opportunity to work with a RLIF Coach of the Year nominee.

Maybe i expanded on the truth a little. But, for me, there's at least 4 maybe 5 better halves in the NRL, Prince, Thurston, Lockyer, Carney, Pearce. What we need is a top class organiser with a superb kicking game, these aren't Cronk's best attributes IMO and we would just be signing the name.

Richard Horne has a good short kicking game!
