Think it will be wakey for me. With all the financial stuff they have to be the ones for me. The only way out for me is that if they swallow their pride and share grounds with cas.It just makes sence. This will be the best all round and would make both clubs financial a lot stronger for the future. If ac milan and inter milan can do that i see no reason why they cant. Its there only hope

what happens if all 3 clubs get the go ahead to build their stadiums ? Will one of the clubs still get relegated ?

One current SL club will definitely lose it's place for the 2012 season.

I do belive that if both Wakey and Cas get new stadia one of them will still go.
Infact I think the whole 'we have started a new stadium so you can't say no to us' is a bit of a smokescreen IMHO.
I would imagine the RFL already know who is getting the bullet and I don't imagine a partly build stadium will save them.

On the RFL's site (licensing FAQs):
"New stadiums or redevelopments of existing stadiums will only be taken into account if the RFL is satisfied that the stadium will be open or the redevelopment finished by the start of the 2012 season."

Considering the applications need to be in by April, you'd imagine clubs need to be well underway with whatever building/redevelopments they promise in the document. Seeing that loads of clubs promised major developments in the April 2008 applications and so far Salford and Saints are the only ones that can demonstrate material progress, the RFL can probably take a stronger stance this time with Widnes ready to be promoted.

I agree and I belive that means Wakey are f...ed.
Plus dont forget that Widnes and Leigh didn't get the YES answer they wanted last time even with new grounds so like I said new grounds IMHO are just a smokescreen.

Yep, chances of them turning round an application approval to starting building works in 5 months are minimal.

The Wakefield planning permission is still not nailed on. There is a large lobby against their development. It is not just going to be a rugby stadium but a large industrial estate/distribution hub that is planned. I guess that if permission is not granted for the industrial site the developers would probably pull out of providing the stadium. At best it is likely to go to a public enquiry which will just delay matters even longer for them and make them the favorites to lose their franchise

I can guarantee you that they aren't. But they also aren't enough on their own.
