Thanks for the Monday fix Wilf -where is Expro these days ?

I well remember going to this game. Two things i distinctly remember, first was the announcement of the crowd, 8000+. A disbelieving gasp went up from the stands, to this day i am convinced that the true attendance was somewhere around 12 -13 thousand. Back then Fulham football club were desperate for cash.
Second was the Prendiville try. Was it forward as the Fulham players protested it was? put it this way if it was Fulham that scored i would have been screaming at the ref.

I too remmember the coaches double parked right down Fulham Broadway it took an eternity to find the right one and sneaking a crate of those little cans (330ml )on to drink on the way back and stacking the empties on the back window sill . The whole coach passed them to the back until the driver complained he couldn't see through his mirror.

Was great to read about the Fulham game, and the mention of Trevor Skerret. He is my all-time favourite Hull player, gawd he was as hard as nails!

I remember the Fulham game Wilf (now) Fantastic old ground rocking with Hull fans; I can still see them having impromptu picnics on the river bank.
