I'm sure you are right, wasn't there an incident a couple of years back where a young girl was left hanging in one of them slingshot rides that fires you in a cage into the sky on 2 bungee ropes?
I was injured at fair when i was young, i got a smack to the head off a pilkey for rocking one of them machines where you try to get the 2p pieces to fall off the edge  |

I remember that..put me off rides for life!! I am dreading the day the daughter is tall enough for all this crap! Though saying that i may tell her the dive bomber story it may do the trick  |

Yer it did... scary thing is, my missus was next in line at the time aswell.... shut the ride and needless to say, we went home!!  |

Yes, the slingshot ride "failed" but the safety mechanisms kicked in as far as I recall? |

 I merely commented on the fact that in my opinion i think think the rides at fair look dodgy, i didn't intend it to be a slur on the travelling community! have a toffee apple and chill the frig out! |
