when i saw the subject headed kick off i thought it was about the fisty cuff in the east stand !

Im sure it got mentioned a fair bit before kick-off, so I was expecting a minutes silence/applause. It was a right cock-up!

That's what I thought, I thought the announcer just asked for fans to remember him as the teams kicked off. Didn't hear any mention of minutes applause.

cant say I heard a mention of it but I assumed there would be by the way they was mentioning it. either way it all seamed a bit unorganized

sure he said a celebration of Tim Sages life yet the game kicked off whilst he was building upto it.

It was very poor organisation, there were a few in the South stand who knew Tim already stood up in anticipation of the annnouncement.

Even though he was very ill he was at the game a few weeks ago, as said by the announcer he was a Hull Fc fan and ex Rovers player.

About 20 mins before kickoff, they announced that there'd be a minutes silence before the game, but obviously the players and officials hadn't been told.

No, they said he'd be remembered.
