You're thicker than I thought if you actually believe what you've written. The only Aussies whining in the press are from your team. Poor old Hull kingsford Australia, do they play 'Cry me a river' in the dressing room before every match?
Quote: MrPhilb "Thats brilliant, really well done. Now tell us what we would have payed for 2009 and 2010 without Club Rovers and then we can work out the savings we have actually been given and you can also tell us why you've added the cost of a derby ticket on for 2009?
Look, you're paying 8% more a year since Club Rovers was introduced. That's real actual cash spend increase year on year. Club Rovers was simply introduced to cushion the blow of a 23.5% increase in pass prices. Marketed pretty well as the poor deluded souls like you think the club's doing them a favour and you're getting a fictional "saving". You're a marketeer's dream. At FC fortunately our pass prices were frozen in 2009 and went up about £10 IIRC, so an average increase of 2.5% vs 2008.
Quote: MrPhilb "Correct, but as I was in the first 2500 it's all good.'"
If you like an 8% increase, more than double the rate of inflation, to fund some electronic turnstiles that require manning, it is all good. Easily pleased, some people.
