Lol I do have a limit and was going to use the money to sponsor a player next year but would rather make sure this item is where it belongs.

If a fan is definitely going to donate the medal to the club (Or the club wants to purchase through a third party) then I would suggest that those parties make sure they don't start a bidding war as they are both on the same side as it were.
IF Johnny Boys intentions are in fact to give it to the club then as much as I'd love this I would not make any hostile bid against him. No point having a dick swinging contest to see who has the deepest pockets


The vendor has assured me of the authenticity and its provenance.

I have awaiting the club coming back to me on this? They may be set on buying it themselves, in which case I have said that I will also refrain from any more bidding.

The club have just confirmed to me that they are not bidding on the item and I have also let them know of my intentions. I have told them what my maximum bid will be and that if I can get it for below that price then they can have it. If anybody wants to check out my authenticity then feel free to contact Sarah Mcallister at the club to confirm what I've said.
