Gary lester was one of the most underrated players for me. Thought he did a good job in a very crap team for the first two seasons of super league. Never got any protection from our forwards, allways came off the pitch black and blue!
Best overseas player for me though without doubt Richard swain. Tackled like a demon, hit well above his weight. Also his distribution from the play of the ball was so quick and accurate it gave cookie and Horney all the time they needed too cause havoc in attack.
Also challenge cup final!!!

For me it has to be Sterling without any doubt. Yes, he was only here for a short while but he amazed in every game he played. The bloke was a genius of the sport.
In the forwards, I think Muggleton. For a second rower he had everything you could ask for.
In the more modern era it is Swain for me no doubt.

Was it Mick Jenkins (the welsh aussie) who shouted on BBC v Wigan at Boulevard when we did em "how much do you f***ing want it"
