I am exactly the same when away when we play and after spending 5 years abroad it was a nightmare especially when the internet failed like it usually did on a Fri/Sun or the Sky went funny just before kickoff.
Worst one was when we played Bradford in the playoffs and that infamous defeat, We had just moved in and i got the sky box set up and the dish aligned and all working. Tv in the corner with Sky sports news waffling and a cuppa on top of the tv whilst i laid some laminate flooring. Only to lift up a piece for cutting knock the cuppa over the tv and emptying its contents into the sky box.
Never did see that match and never had tinternet at the time.... not sure if it was a blessing in the end ![]()
As you know I don't often reply for obvious reasons but what a great story that is! thanks
