wow, what a brilliant game that was
I, like many others, did not think we could come back from 26-6 down, I honestly thought Saints were gonna hammer us tbh
but we showed true spirit, I was jumping up and down that much I missed the players celebrations when the full-time hooter went lol
the KC was rocking tonight, not heard that much noise in the KC since............................we beat Rovers 44-18 in 2008
this was my Dad's first game since he had a heart attack in April, what a game to come back to!! (he has just about recovered, I'm still on Cloud Nine!!)
p.s. when we beat Saints at Knowsley Road in 2006, guess what the score was?
yes, the same score as it was tonight (27-26)

| Only managed to listen to the first 20-odd minutes. Was driving home for most of the 2nd half and watching the score updates on my iPhone. Going more mental every time we scored. Once it got to 26-26, it felt like the score stayed like that for hours! Then out of the blue, the screen updated with Hull FC 27 - St Helens 26. I nearly crashed the car celebrating!!
After that it ws constant chants of "Blow the effing hooter" until it flashed up FT. Hope I can get a copy of the game as I have no idea how the whole thing played out, except for what my mam told me - of course I phoned her when I got home 
Whilst I have no idea WTF happened during the game and how we managed to stage such an epic comeback, I do know that I am a very proud Hull fan. The boys in black and white did us proud tonight. |

Guess what the date was of that match???
Early week in June 2006, just before the world cup started.
What else happend that season? Started like a house on fire only to dip away after the first few games. Recover to beat St's bey a late drop goal which was part of a run or 13 straight wins which took us to the GF.
Can anyone else hear the Twilight zone music?
