Agreed, if he'd have stayed he would have taken as much flak as anyone else in the number 7 shirt/position. He's a half decent player on his day, but I wish people would recognise he has limited skills for a Super League halfback. |

I don't rate him either (although he's looked OK this season), but better than our current wing options (seeing that Calderwood's injured long term), that's about all you can say. |

If we didn't want carvell to play for wire he wouldn't have.
WE agreed a deal with wire, WE let him sign for them after a suitable argrement had been made.
Back to hodgson, when he signed a four year deal at the start of 2008 sharp said we'd been in discussions but weren't prepered to match hudds offer of 70k a season.
Wonder why we would now? Are we that desperate for wingers?
