I agree with sheldon we do not need or want anouther 33 year old back rower, if we could id like to see berrigan go and bring in a quality half back, finch would be ideal, at the very least release fitz for him, crazy signing imo.

Re Cooke, saw him rip us a new backside at Craven Park last year single handedly.

As much as I hate him, he is streets better than anything we have & I include Longy in that.

One of a small handful (if that) of decent games he had last season, and he's had none so far this season. He's been utterly anonymous for Wakey and looks fat, unfit, and lazy.

Stick a fork in him - he's done.

I wouldn't be surprised if fitz has either realised his body won't take another year or he can't be bothered wasting his time in the current set up.

Whiting, IMO, is suited to the back row and has done more than enough towarrant a move to his prefered position.

Regarding the contracted players people have to realise unless they agree there's not much the club can do apart from pay them off in full, which is pointless.

Berrigans suffering from playing when injured, his shoulders aren't in great shape, and should be moved away from the hooking position next season and into the centre position with diskin, higham and clarke(not ideal) we should have a opition.

To be fair I got the impression that both us and Rovers are talking to Wild. Galea seems nailed on for Hull. Certainly not a signing I'm overjoyed with. Utility usually turns out to mean not good enough in any position. I also think it would hinder Whiting's chances of getting the 13 shirt - which we all want!
