Good post......Glasto is, and always will be a festival for people that 'THINK THEY KNOW MUSIC'......Far too diverse to be taken seriously. A bit like those girls that will dress up in England t-shirts for this years world cup, pop to the pub for the England games and just sit and gab about make-up and clothes and Posh Spice to the other females there...until their blokes start getting excited about whats going on on the telly. Then and only then will they get excited too...they dont know why, they just will
! Basicaly.....Its just a daft fashion thing. Glasto is a fashion thing...with mud.....lots and lots of mud. The bands there aint that good either
OK...just my opinion of course, But I am a festival veteran and Donington is by far a better set up. At least the campsite isnt in a marsh!
